Established in Australia over 35 years ago, this inspirational organisation serves as the national peak body for people impacted by this disease and provide information, education and support services, advocating for positive change and supporting vital research.

ROLE

Newly created Digital Fundraising Team Leader responsible for the development, implementation and optimisation of digital marketing and fundraising campaigns across Individual Giving, Events, Campaigns and Community Fundraising.

Reporting to the National Campaigns and Community Fundraising Manager and managing one direct report, you will work in collaboration to conduct the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, develop and implement effective digital marketing/fundraising strategies to drive engagement and revenue generation from their supporter base across all areas of giving.
  • Build on existing digital strategy to enhance digital campaigns.
  • Lead the digital specialist to deliver dynamic fundraising copy, graphic and video content for digital channels (including social media posts, ads, eDMs, donation forms and the website)
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with Individual Giving and Community Fundraising teams through effective communication, report and conduct analysis to ensure campaign success.
  • Manage income and expenditure budgets
  • Lead the continuous development and continuous improvement of online processes
  • Strategise ways to enhance acquisition and retention through new test approaches
  • Keep up to date with best practise fundraising techniques, products and technologies to attract new supporters

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Several years’ experience in a fundraising, communications or marketing role ideally in not for profit or agency environment
  • Proven success executing successful experiences in digital fundraising, planning and marketing
  • Proven project management and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management including analysis of costs/income, ROI, conversion and attrition data and other related KPI’s.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Utilisation of digital platforms including Campaign Monitor, Microsoft Dynamics, Facebook Business and Google
  • Strong understanding of social media and how to communicate across multiple channels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability manage key stakeholders.
  • Ability to both, think strategically and implement on a tactical level.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A friendly professional nature with sense of humour who can be honest, trustworthy and work collaboratively.
