Capricorn Conservation Council is looking for a part time Coordinator (30 hours / week).

This position is a fantastic opportunity to be a leader in helping protect and advocate for good management of environment in the Capricorn region.

Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of the environmental challenges in Central Queensland (and their political context), or the ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge.

We are looking for someone with great written and oral communication, interpersonal and representational skills with experience in advocacy, engagement, negotiation and developing relationships with stakeholders and the broader community.

Experience in research and critical review are desirable so that you can prepare submissions on development proposals, draft legislation and policy for decision-makers at all levels of government.
