About the position:

Communities for Children Facilitating Partners (CfC FPs) support children and families in disadvantaged communities. CfC FPs take an early intervention approach that supports families to improve the way they relate to each other; improve parenting skills; and to ensure the health and wellbeing of children.

CCV delivers the program in Greater Shepparton as a service arm of CatholicCare Victoria Tasmania (CCVT).

Specifically, the position is responsible for:

  • Developing a CfC Community Strategic Plan and Activity Work Plan in conjunction with the CfC Steering Committee.
  • Working effectively with government departments, funding bodies and a wide range of service providers to achieve the CfC funding objectives.
  • Encouraging stakeholders to share resources and work collectively towards better outcomes for families.
  • Providing positive team leadership and individual staff support and supervision.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications at a degree level or above in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience and skills in program planning, development, implementation, monitoring, review and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability in providing facilitation and leadership to a broad range of service providers and stakeholders from government and non-government sectors.
  • Demonstrated skills in effective networking and building cross-sectoral partnerships.
