  • Location: Primarily based in Shepparton and outreach as required to Bendigo and/or Echuca.

THE ROLE

This position seeks to provide high quality counselling to parents, carers, and children to support them through the challenges and transitions of family life.

Specifically, the position is responsible for:

  • Undertaking intake and assessment.
  • Delivering high quality counselling to children and families.
  • Providing information, advice and referral.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, APPLICANTS REQUIRE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or relevant discipline.
  • Experience working with and children and families utilising a range of therapeutic approaches and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the social, physical and emotional impacts of separation on families.
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence based practice development and continuous learning.
