As the Coordinator, Accommodation and Transport based in Rockhampton you will be an integral part of the statewide Accommodation and Transport team. In this role you will be responsible for the daily operations of Cancer Council Queensland’s Central Queensland Accommodation facility and transport programs including welcoming service users and visitors, coordinating bookings and arrivals, and providing oversight to local housekeeping and maintenance schedules.
This role is Permanent Full-time (37.5 hours per week) based in our Lodge in Rockhampton.
This role is responsible for fulfilling all the daily operations of CCQ’s accommodation and local transport services within the Rockhampton including reservations, arrivals invoicing, volunteer driver scheduling and associated paperwork.
You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and will be professional when interacting with visitors, service users and volunteers.
To be successful in this role you must have proven previous experience working within the Hospitality Industry. You will have an ability to be flexible and able to multi-task with a high level of time management and organisational skills. You will have experience in scheduling of reservations and bookings, handling confidential information and have the ability to deal with cancer patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
