About the role

As a Corporate Engagement Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting CCQ’s corporate engagement initiatives. This is a dynamic role where you’ll lead the charge in connecting with corporate partners, corporate supporters and their workforces across campaigns, events, and sponsorships to drive engagement, support, and awareness for the life-changing work of CCQ. You’ll be a trusted conduit between the business sector and our mission, creating lasting relationships with key corporate supporters and expanding CCQ’s impact across Queensland.

You’ll play a key role in:

  • Corporate Engagement: Act as the key liaison for CCQ, working with businesses across Queensland to foster strategic relationships through community initiatives and corporate partnerships.
  • Lead Generation: Identify lead opportunities for corporate partnerships and engagement, enhancing CCQ’s visibility and influence through targeted campaigns and events.
  • Campaign & Event Engagement: Collaborate across teams to plan and deliver high-impact initiatives that generate lead opportunities and engage the corporate sector in supporting CCQ’s mission.
  • Ongoing Stewardship: Provide exceptional, responsive service to corporate partners, ensuring they feel valued and are actively engaged with CCQ’s research, prevention, and support programs.

  • Research: Help fund life-saving cancer research, like the award-winning Cancer Atlas, which tracks cancer patterns to inform care across Queensland.
  • Prevention: Support initiatives that reduce cancer risk, including shade programs that provide protection against harmful UV rays for Queensland's children.
  • Support Services: Ensure Queenslanders going through cancer can access critical services like counselling, transport to treatment, accommodation, wigs, and turbans – all provided free of charge to those in need.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Relevant experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, or community engagement is essential, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Passion for Impact: A commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of Queenslanders affected by cancer.
  • Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
