About the role

Cancer Council Queensland is looking for two Reception and Administration Coordinators to join our team.

The Reception and Administration Coordinators will be responsible for managing the front desk reception area and switchboard for Cancer Council Queensland. Providing customer service excellence by being the vital first contact visitors and service users make with the Cancer Council Queensland either in person or by telephone.

The roles will also provide high level administration support to the General Managers of Cancer Council Queensland.

These roles are Permanent, Part-Time, 30 hours per week Monday to Friday with the option of a morning or afternoon shift.

About you

To be successful in this role you will provide an exceptional level of customer service both in person and over the phone as well as ensure the smooth running of the “front-of-house” and administration functions for Cancer Council Queensland.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Essential Skills:

  • 3 years Administration experience
  • Office administration, team support and general administration multi-tasking skills
  • Confidence in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong team spirit and a flexible approach to work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills:

  • Administration experience in a not for profit, medical or professional services environment
  • Reception experience.
