ABOUT YOU…

You have experience as a member of a management team, providing leadership in relation to service delivery, innovation and planning, and contribute to a high-functioning and collaborative culture. You quickly build rapport with stakeholders and can engage with a diverse range of people.

Due to your extensive experience in the provision of real estate services, property development and design, you can confidently negotiate with property sector professionals for positive outcomes.

You are a self-starter with an analytical mindset that constructively challenges the norm and can easily adapt to changing requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE….

As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, this role will manage the acquisition, development, re-development and disposal of property assets to meet our Program objectives. Provide expert analysis of new and innovative affordable housing products, solutions and opportunities.

Strategic

Provide analysis, support and tools to assist sound decision making in relation to CEHL strategic plan outcomes and initiatives to:

  • Embed organisational excellence.
  • Harness our asset value and sustaining growth.
  • Explore new commercial models.
  • Demonstrate proactive leadership in housing solutions.

Operational

  • Develop and manage an acquisition and development plan to respond to Program property requirements.
  • Procure and manage property sale and acquisition services, including real estate agents.
  • Manage property acquisitions.
  • Manage property disposals.
  • Manage property development and re-development processes by managing specialist development consultants and contractors.
  • Actively analyse redevelopment potential of existing CEHL owned sites and properties.
  • Manage the strategic leasing portfolio.
  • Prepare tenders for funding opportunities.
  • Lead and coach team members.

Product Development

  • Keep abreast of markets and opportunities within the residential property sector.
  • Consider and analyse new and innovative affordable housing products, solutions and opportunities.
  • Develop concepts, proposals and submissions seeking board approval and funding.
