The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

CONTRACTS & PROJECT OFFICER – CD015 – ALICE SPRINGS
CL 6 – SO C - (Commencing on $78,314 - $89,960 – Progressing to $100,396 – $108,410)
This position will support the management of all projects requirements and information systems of the CLC’s Community Development (CD) Unit and perform related supervisory and program management functions as required. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining financial management procedures and reporting, together with the CLC financial section, to budget and monitor expenditure of the unit’s core operational budget, funding from land use agreements being managed under the CD program and externally-funded grants. Additionally, you will monitor CLC compliance with terms and conditions of service and funding agreements for all projects under the CD program and if required set up and oversee electronic contract management system.

Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
