The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people across the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.

The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

We are currently seeking a suitable qualified candidate for the following position:

Electronic Files and Records Officer – Anthropology – LT024 – Alice Springs

CL 6 (Commencing at $76,854 progressing to $88,283)

This position is based in Alice Springs, you will be responsible for the digitising of anthropological records (that may consist of paper-based files, bound volumes, maps, photographs, audio-visual and digital records, as well as objects and other formats) as well as the effective, efficient and timely management and maintenance of the anthropological records and associated databases. The successful candidate will have qualifications in records and archives management or a related field. You will have at least two years’ experience in record keeping and archive management. Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
