The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people across the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.

The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

The CLC are seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the following vacancy:

Performance Monitoring Officer - DI006 - Alice Springs

CL 6 (Commencing at base salary $76,854 progressing to $88,283)

Under the direction of the General Manager (Chief Financial Officer) you will be responsible for the implementation of the PGPA Commonwealth Performance Framework and you will support the organisation to ensure that it maintains effective performance monitoring (annual performance statement, performance 'dashboards'). You will be required to maintain and develop performance 'dashboard' system and any system that may replace it. You will respond to performance audit requests and action any reporting system against corporate plan activities, including monitoring of managerial submissions. The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications/experience in organisation performance monitoring, excellent numerical skills and a strong MS Excel usage background.

An Ochre Card (working with vulnerable people check), a national police clearance and a driver's licence are mandatory requirements for all employees employed at the Central Land Council.

Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
