WHO WE ARE

CERES is an award-winning environmental education centre, urban farm and social enterprise hub located on Wurundjeri land alongside the Merri Creek in Melbourne. Once a landfill site and wasteland, today CERES is a thriving, vibrant community. With over 450,000 visitors a year, CERES is the most visited environmental centre in Australia.

WHAT WE NEED DONE

The IT Department at CERES supports computers, phones and point of sale systems across four sites as well as several websites for a wide variety of business areas.

The IT Support & Systems Administrator will jump into the day-to-day IT tasks required to keep the organisation running such as account management, user support and in-depth configuration and troubleshooting of network services. There will be some project work to assist with upcoming network and server upgrades.

WHO WE LOOKING FOR

We need someone who loves technical problem solving and be able to troubleshoot to get to the bottom of an issue.

You will be highly organised and responsive to our team and be able to communicate technical ideas clearly and confidently to non-technical people.

An ability to create and follow documented standard procedures and document work is also needed to keep the department in a state of continuous improvement.
