Who we are

CERES is an award-winning environmental education centre, urban farm and social enterprise hub located on Wurundjeri land in Brunswick East, Coburg and two sites in Preston. Once a landfill site and wasteland, today, CERES’ Brunswick East site is a thriving, vibrant community. With over 450,000 visitors a year, CERES is Australia's most visited environmental centre.

What we need done

The CERES School of Nature and Climate is a response to the climate and ecological crisis.

CERES School of Nature and Climate consists of three delivery areas: Student Programs, Teacher Programs and Adult Learning. Our education offerings are designed to develop skills, leadership and resilience. We strive to equip people to think differently, act for the planet and be resilient and responsive citizens.

The CERES School of Nature and Climate teams require the skills of an experienced administrator to respond to customer enquiries, monitor and process bookings and provide marketing support.

This role will engage with our school customers by responding to queries on multiple platforms. Providing clear communication to CERES educators and school teachers about booked programs and by supporting educators with operational assistance.

We’re seeking someone who has excellent communication skills and innovative approaches to improve workflow and streamline admin tasks.

Integral to this role will be experience providing friendly and timely customer service, and familiarity with shared online documents, working knowledge of Excel, and some experience in the use of Canva, Mailchimp and CRM software.
