As the Community Partnership and Fundraising Coordinator you will play a critical role in supporting day to day delivery of community fundraising campaigns and partnerships creating positive supporter experiences, providing exceptional customer service to all community supporters across third-party fundraising activities, managing community groups, and overseeing community engagement events.

The Organisation

Cystic Fibrosis Community Care provides support, advocacy, and information to the people living with cystic fibrosis, promotes awareness of CF, and funds medical research into the fight against CF.

Community Fundraising and Partnership Role

The Community Partnerships & Fundraising Coordinator’s primary purpose is to coordinate and service the day-to-day delivery of community fundraising and partnership activities creating positive supporter experiences, admin support across third party fundraising activities, managing community groups and overseeing community engagement events. The role will also serve to increase the profile of Cystic Fibrosis Community Care via traditional and digital fundraising strategies.

A member of the CFCC Marketing and Fundraising Team, the Community Partnerships & Fundraising Coordinator works with all team members to implement a series of activities through whatever channels are deemed best to identify funding opportunities and deliver income targets set out in the Fundraising Strategic Plan.

What You Will Bring:

As the Community Partnerships and Fundraising Coordinator, you thrive on thinking creatively to develop innovative campaigns, positive donor relationships and identify funding opportunities to help reach the wider CF community.

You love working in a small team that delivers effective and creative marketing or fundraising campaigns on time.

You believe that developing effective communication and marketing campaigns are the key to generating greater brand awareness and reaching the organisations fundraising goals.

In addition to the above our ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising particularly the practice of community partnerships and fundraising; a proven history of closing community partnerships.
  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, be persuasive and develop trust, and manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders across all levels and from varying backgrounds.
  • Highly competent across digital fundraising practices with ability to operate social media platforms – Facebook; Instagram.
  • Advanced IT literacy in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook); advanced technical and operational knowledge of fundraising platforms, marketing automation systems and previous experiences using CRMs – preferably Salesforce.
