Our Customer Service team assists our members with all manner of queries and therefore offers both a challenging and rewarding experience for someone to learn and promote the full range of activities CHOICE are involved in to encourage active as well as loyal membership.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and working within a team of 6 (in the office or at home) you will:

  • Respond to member queries and needs escalating to subject matter experts where necessary
  • Ensure that all relevant member data fields are accurate and correctly populated and formatted.
  • Respond to customer contacts in a timely and appropriate fashion ensuring our service levels are met
  • Make the most of engagement & retention opportunities from each contact by educating members on new product offerings and services to maximise the value of their membership
  • Look for opportunities to continually improve the CHOICE customer experience and internal processes

About You

You are a dedicated Customer Service professional with sound knowledge of the tools and techniques in delivering excellent customer service. You want to work for an organisation that shares your passion for helping people.

  • Demonstrated customer service experience in two way call centres
  • Strong time management skills including ability to prioritise multiple requests
  • Some knowledge and genuine interest in consumer rights and affairs
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to accurately handle information and build company knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well developed IT skills particularly using browser, office & CRM software
