The Youth Centre

Is a purpose built centre offering a wide range of school term, holiday activities, annualised events and space for hire. The Centre strives to celebrate diversity, inclusion and the positive contribution young people make to the community.

The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a conscientious and highly-organised human services professional to coordinate the ongoing development, delivery, promotion and evaluation of activities, events and opportunities while overseeing the everyday Youth Centre functioning.

As part of your application you will be required to address the below criteria;

  • Relevant post-secondary qualification eg. Business, Human / Community Services
  • Experience working in a similar centre coordination position
  • Strong commitment to Social Justice
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills in particular conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation

Salary: $82,859 to $97,475 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours: Full Time, with availability to work Thursday evenings and occasional weekends for events as required.
