This exciting role is for a person who is passionate about sustainability, solutions focused and is enthusiastic about working with the community to create lasting change through improved waste management and resource recovery practices.
Reporting to the Recycling Programs Coordinator in the Resource Recovery team, you will be responsible for project managing and delivering a range of resource recovery projects that improve recycling and waste management for residents through infrastructure improvements, planning and community engagement programs.
This position is for a self-starter with advanced problem-solving and communication skills that enjoys working in the field and has an in depth understanding of the strategies required to address waste management issues in multi-unit dwellings, high-density housing and other residential communities.
To be successful you will hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and extensive experience and knowledge in waste projects, waste management and/or waste education.
