Yarra City Council's Aged and Disability Services Branch has a proud history in providing a comprehensive range of services to our community- we are leaders in service provision, advocacy, social planning and community development.

An opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our progressive team as we respond to the significant reforms and changes impacting on the provision of aged and disability services.

The Access and Inclusion Planning & Resource Officer will be responsible for coordinating, resourcing and building the capacity of the Disability Advisory Committee. The successful applicant will also contribute to the development of key Council policies and strategic plans and will also assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Access & Inclusion Strategy. The will foster an organisational culture that fosters encourages cross-divisional activity.

With a degree or diploma in a related field and/or substantial experience the successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to foster inclusiveness across broad communities of interest and able to provide input into policy development and policy analysis.
