  • Band 6 - $88,405  - $96,243 + super (pro rata)

This position sits within the Sustainability Unit. The Sustainability and Strategic Transport Branch is part of the Planning and Place Making division. The Sustainability Unit has the responsibility to provide organisational and community-wide leadership, vision, strategy, plans and engagement to ensure urgent action on climate change in line with Council’s declaration of a Climate Emergency, our endorsed Climate Emergency Plan and net zero emissions by 2030 target. 

We are looking for a person who is passionate about climate action, to join our team to provide key data analytics and support implementing climate action programs within our organisation and into our community. The role will see the incumbent lead our energy and carbon data management both from an organisational perspective and also the emerging field of community data. In addition to data, the role will provide an exciting opportunity to build networks across the organisation as well into our community and State and Federal Government.

The role requires someone who is confident working with data, has a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and a sense of accountability together with confidence in building networks and relationships with a wide range of people and key stakeholder groups.
