Clothier Anderson Immigration Lawyers are looking for a junior/trainee lawyer who is dedicated to working in this rewarding area of practice. Work will include preparing primary visa applications and AAT merits review applications in all areas of immigration and refugee law as well as cancellation and character matters under the Migration Act 1958.

Clothier Anderson Immigration Lawyers is a specialist immigration and refugee law practice located in Carlton. There are four accredited specialist lawyers working in the practice who each have a great deal of experience in this rewarding area of the law and our team of lawyers and support staff are very friendly and supportive.

The position will include considerable client contact and autonomy but with supervision as required. The work is varied and intellectually stimulating. Candidates should be confident in dealing with clients from non-English speaking backgrounds. High level written and verbal communication skills are essential, as are advanced legal research skills. File and costs management, managing strict deadlines and excellent attention to detail are also critical.

The position is full-time and the salary will be commensurate with experience.
