I am a woman living with high support needs in the City of Marion in Adelaide. I feel most alive when I am engaging with my community. I am seeking the right person to assist me for at least 10-14 hours a week to take advantage of all the great things the city has to offer.

I enjoy music, live concerts, movies, singing, libraries and books. I love visiting my family, eating out, shopping, and looking good. I also like to get away for a holiday now and then. Keeping in regular contact with my family who don’t live in Adelaide is very important to me.

You will share my interests, be easily available so we can organise time together when interesting things are happening during the day, evening or on weekends. Sometimes we will relax at home where you might assist me to cook something delicious or use my tablet to enjoy music, movies and chat with my family. You will enjoy exploring possibilities around what’s happening in my community and find ways to help me to participate. You will work closely with my family to explore ideas and decide on potential events.

The successful applicant will be mature, patient, organised, reliable, motivating, insightful, a good communicator, enthusiastic and tech savvy.

Time for administration and ongoing training and direction will be provided.

All applicants must have a valid Drivers’ Licence, a road worthy vehicle suitable for work purposes and have or be prepared to undertake a Current Senior First Aid Certificate, Manual Handling, Assist with Medication, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
