I live in the Adelaide Southern Metropolitan area.

I am looking for the right person to assist me living in my own home and in my community to help me pursue, grow my connections, friendships, and interests for approx. 10-20 hours a week. Whether it is in my home, gardening, listening to music, finding cafes, going to the gym or going for a fish – through knowing and embracing my gifts, interests, and skills this role can facilitate amazing relationships in my local community.

My family is important to me, they work closely to help me live a purposeful life building my competencies and valued roles. It is also critical to listen to me, acknowledge and respect my choices whilst assisting me with my personal needs and making day to day decisions.

This role may include providing personal care and household tasks including laundry, meal preparation/cooking, cleaning and shopping, support to live a healthy and holistic lifestyle.

You will have good flexibility across a 7-day per week roster, the hours will be negotiated depending on your availability and skills.

The successful applicant will be patient, mature, and confident sharing some of my interests and working with me to live the life I choose.

Wages will be paid at the CLP Enterprise Agreement rates and ongoing training will be provided.

All applicants must have or be prepared to undertake an NDIS Worker Check and Provide First Aid training. Additionally, a current driver’s licence and a car to use for work purposes is required. It is a requirement that the worker in this support role needs to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
