I am a woman in my 60’s who lives in my own home in Ascot Park. I am looking for the right person to assist me in my home and out and about in my community for 10-20 hours a week. I love my home and garden, playing and listening to music, swimming at Marion pool, going to the gym, shopping, eating out and finding new cafes to try.

I need assistance to make many decisions and organise the events of my daily life but it is equally important to listen to me and acknowledge and respect my choices.

My family are incredibly important to me and we will work closely with them to help me live a purposeful life in the community and build my competencies and valued roles. Through knowing and embracing my gifts, interests, and skills you will help to facilitate my relationships in my local community.

This role also involves providing personal care and household tasks including laundry, meal preparation/cooking, cleaning and shopping, support to live a healthy and holistic lifestyle.

You will have good flexibility across a 7-day per week roster to work 10-15 hrs per week. The hours will be negotiated depending on your availability and skills.

The successful applicant will be patient, mature, and confident. They will share some of my interests and work with me to live the life I choose.

Wages will be paid at AWARD rates and ongoing training will be provided.

All applicants must have or be prepared to undertake an NDIS Worker Check and Senior First Aid training. Additionally, a current driver’s licence and a car for use for work purposes are required.
