I am a man in my 30’s, living in my own home in the North-Eastern suburbs, and I’m looking for the right person to fill a support worker role on my team.

You will support me to build my skills in menu planning and preparing the evening meal. We will also do things together like exercising, walking, playing table tennis or shooting hoops.

I am looking for someone who can work one or more of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5-7 pm. There is some flexibility in this timing. You will also be available for at least one overnight following the evening shift, from 9 pm to 6 am. The overnight rate, when you are sleeping and not actively supporting me, is $ 7.40/hr.

The right person for my team will work alongside me and be reliable, a good listener and communicator, patient and thoughtful. You will have strong social skills and be a good role model for me in social situations.

You will also share some of my interests like healthy cooking, fitness, music and enjoy engaging with your community.

Having some flexibility to fill in for shifts when needed during the week and on weekends would also be an advantage.

The role also includes a moderate amount of housework to assist me to keep my house clean and tidy.

Wages will be paid at AWARD rates and ongoing training will be provided.

All applicants must have a valid Drivers’ Licence, a roadworthy vehicle suitable for work purposes and have or be prepared to undertake a Current Senior First Aid Certificate and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
