• Casual Employment position - North Eastern Suburbs 4-10.5 hours a week @ $36.40/hr

Do you enjoy connecting with people and living a healthy lifestyle?

I am a man in my 30’s, living in my own home in the North-Eastern suburbs, and I’m looking for the right person to fill a support worker role on my team.

On evening shifts you will support me to build my skills in menu planning and preparing the evening meal. We will also do things together like exercising, walking, playing table tennis or shooting hoops.

Monday mornings you will support me to do things in my community. This might be doing things I enjoy like going to the gym and fundraising by collecting recyclables or it might be taking care of my responsibilities like grocery shopping.

Once a fortnight on Sundays you’ll assist me to discover events and activities in my community that will interest me, like going out to a musical or other interesting social events.

The right person for my team will work alongside me and be reliable, a good listener and communicator, patient and thoughtful. You will have strong social skills and be a good role model for me in social situations. You will be comfortable researching and planning for events.

You will also share some of my interests like healthy cooking, fitness, music and enjoy engaging with your community.

Having some flexibility to fill in for shifts when needed during the week and on weekends would also be an advantage.

The role also includes a moderate amount of housework to assist me to keep my house clean and tidy.

Wages will be paid at AWARD rates and ongoing training will be provided.

All applicants must have a valid Drivers’ Licence, a roadworthy vehicle suitable for work purposes and have or be prepared to undertake a Current Senior First Aid Certificate and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
