About the Role

CMY seeks a motivated Business Development Lead to implement targeted growth strategies for the achievement of revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have previous Business Development or Partnership Management experience, ideally from within a Not-For-Profit setting. You will have a strong drive to grow and develop service offerings and enjoy developing both existing and new relationships. Managing strategic relations you will develop an effective strategy to cultivate relationships with corporate partners and foundations that result in long term collaboration and sustainable funding.

  • Hours: 30.4 hours per week (0.8 FTE), Part Time
  • Fixed Term: until 30 October 2022
  • Base Salary (SCHADS Level 6) : $92,694 per annum (pro rata) plus Super and access to Salary Packaging
  • Location: CMY Carlton Office (Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this role will require you to initially work from home)
  • Interviews: to be held in the week beginning 23 August 2021

You will have

  • Passion to drive sustainable financial growth through innovative service offerings and forging strong relationships with strategic stakeholders.
  • The knack for identifying new business opportunities and are able to build strong credibility and trust both internally and externally with stakeholders and partners.
  • Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce high quality clear business proposals within tight timeframes;
  • An ability to work both independently and within a team environment and collaborate effectively with peers across multiple regions.
