About the Role
CMY seeks a Senior Project Officer in the Employment Empowers program who will be responsible for volunteer recruitment and management, mentor matching, and supporting relationships between mentors and mentees.
- Hours: 38 hours (5 days) per week (1 FTE), Full Time
- Fixed Term: until 30 June 2022
- Base Salary (SCHADS Level 5): $84, 849 -$88, 682 per annum plus Super and access to Salary Packaging
- Location: Based at CMY Carlton Office, (Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this role will require you to initially work from home)

You will have
- Experience in recruitment, matching and ongoing support of volunteer mentor relationships.
- Experience in project management and implementation, reporting, data collection & evaluation, and well-developed organisational and administrative skills.
- Understanding of the multiple intersecting barriers relevant to young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, particularly barriers to employment.
- Ability to support and supervise individual staff engaged in project delivery and volunteer recruitment.
- A demonstrated commitment to CMY’s principles of diversity, human rights and participation.
