Located within our Programs and Services team in our Bendigo based office, this opportunity is on a part time basis 0.8 EFT (30.4 hours per week).

The purpose of the Administration Assistant role is to work directly with the Programs and Services team on a day-to-day basis to provide a range of administrative support functions.

The Administration Assistant is responsible for:

  • Perform administration tasks as directed by the Executive Assistant.
  • Provide administrative support to the Programs and Services team.
  • Provide administration support to other streams as required.
  • Facilitate and support the Family Violence Flexible Support Package (FVFSP) administration process, in conjunction with the FVFSP Coordinator and Finance.
  • Maintain the data entry and balancing of the Acquittal for the FVFSP applications.
  • Support the administration processes for other brokerage and support funding as required.
  • Provide administration assistance to other areas of the organisation including Reception coverage when required.
  • Carry out other duties relating to general administration, as directed by the Executive Assistant, may include preparing correspondence, confidential documents, filing, data entry and scheduling of appointments.

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Well-developed administration and reception experience.
  • Highly developed skills in dealing with complex, confidential and sensitive issues with a high level of tact, discretion and judgment.
  • Sound computer and keyboard skills, including a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages including excel and outlook and the ability to troubleshoot software issues.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to determine priorities and meet work deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to change within a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
