Coburg Children’s Centre and Kindergarten is a highly regarded community based, not for profit service offering quality programs and family support. A rare opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent educator to join our team, initially in an acting Team Leader role commencing mid-January, 2022.

The Team Leader role is a position of responsibility, managing a long day care room. Team leaders are responsible for the day to day management of the room and responsibilities include being a point of contact for parents, managing allocated and floating staff needs (breaks etc) and planning and implementing the children’s program. We are seeking a diploma qualified educator with at least two years experience leading a room for this position. The Team Leader aspect of the position is initially for 12 months, ongoing as a permanent team member.

Full time staff work a 9 day fortnight, with an RDO. We are open to considering 4 days per week for the right candidate. This position requires high quality written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
