Multicultural Project Officer - Bendigo

  • Part time (0.8 FTE), Temporary to June 2022
  • Salary Range $68,462 - $79,776 pro rata + Super

The City of Greater Bendigo is seeking to employ an Inclusive Communities Officer – Multicultural Projects. The focus of this role is to provide:

  • Project planning
  • Project support
  • Project administration

This is to help the Team respond to the access and equity priorities of multicultural groups in our local community.

In this role you will also undertake:

  • Community engagement activities
  • Building partnerships with a range of groups and services including Bendigo Community Health Services and Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services
  • Research, analysis, benchmarking and evaluation
  • Preparing written and verbal documents and reports.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in community engagement and development
  • Experience in project planning and implementation and in multicultural services.

A satisfactory police records check and Working with Children Check is required for this position.
