Aged Care Services Manager

Bring your leadership skills to our outstanding community based aged care service. We want a highly skilled manager to support exceptional individualised care that enhances and promotes the quality of life for our elderly clients living in the inner northern suburbs of Brisbane.

  • Support and and take the clinical lead of the team of coordinators, facilitators, allied health professionals, registered nurse and support workers
  • Ensure quality and compliance governance are achieved through robust processes that meet internal and external auditing standards
  • Plan and implement care initiatives centred on quality improvements, driving positive changes within the various services

What you'll bring:

  • Experience as a community services aged care professional
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience leading multidisciplinary teams within the community aged care setting
  • Comprehensive understanding of the industries' quality standards, frameworks, funding and how these shape consumer directed care delivery for services

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree or relevant qualification with associated national registration e.g. APHRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing a large portfolio across community aged care, budgeting, reporting and evaluating
  • Strong proven leadership and ability to oversee and coach direct reports

The aged care service provides community based care options for frail aged older people with high/complex needs including those with dementia, within a warm, welcoming, safe and supportive environment. We aim to assist clients to achieve their optimum level of function, mobility and independence. Using the latest evidence-based approaches to enablement and active aging, this service aims to maximise abilities, improve health status, cognitive connectedness, independence, health outcomes and wellbeing of our clients. Funding is primarily from the Commonwealth under both CHSP and HCP . Services reporting to this role include In Home Support, Home care Packages, Home Assist Secure, Day Respite, and Transport.
