Communify Qld is looking for the right person to lead the Bardon Neighbourhood Centre alongside Communify’s other neighbourhood centre programs. Work up to 30 hrs per week Mon to Fri & become part of a dynamic team working collaboratively with the North West Community Hub and Communify's other Neighbourhood Centres.

  • Are you passionate about promotion of wellbeing for individuals, groups and communities who are disadvantaged and vulnerable?
  • Have you got experience in managing service delivery programs and service delivery activities?
  • Are you able to deliver service navigation and brief intervention which may include emergency relief and financial inclusion?
  • Are you able to communicate confidently and professionally with the wider community and within the spectrum Communify Qld?
  • Have you got demonstrated program management skills?
  • Are you able to provide vibrant leadership and manage overall operations of the centre?

If so, then this role under the direction of our Community Services Manager and within dynamic Communify Neighbourhood Centre Program presents you with an exciting opportunity. You will hit the ground running with some flexibility with working hours that will involve some evening and occasional weekend work.

Our ideal candidate will have experience managing a busy service, work from a community development framework and have a demonstrated passion for improving the lives of marginalised people. Qualifications and/or extensive experience in Human Services are essential.
