About the role

As a member of the Calvary Community Care team, you will deliver quality services to meet the needs of our clients and contribute to a positive experience whilst at Calvary Community Care. Assist in planning, assessing and evaluating our clients needs with the help of our multidisciplinary team, to promote positive health outcomes. 

The Registered Nurse provides clinical support to our clients and collaborates with our support workers to deliver exceptional care to our clients in the community. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Attending to clients wound care and clinical needs in the community 
  • Clinical assessments to understand how to assist clients to remain safe in their home 
  • Providing clinical support to internal  and external stakeholders. 

What you bring 

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Recent nursing/clinical experience in the last 5 years or evidence of a refresher course
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Initiative and the desire to continually improve client care
  • Capability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframes
  • Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
