ABOUT THE ROLE AND CS#1 EMPLOYEE REWARDS:

The People and Culture Manager sits within the Corporate Services Team and reports to the Corporate Operations Director. The People and Culture Manager is accountable for delivering CS#1’s People and Culture outcomes through a team of two additional staff, and is the direct supervisor of the People and Culture Coordinator. People and Culture outcomes span the breadth of workforce design, employee life cycle and workplace culture programs.

This position is a key member of CS#1’s Leadership Team, and also chairs CS#1’s WHS committee and Head Office’s ECO committee.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled People and Culture Manager to join CS#1 at a time when we are strengthening all foundation frameworks and systems so that we may progress our growth strategy with confidence.

We are seeking someone with a growth mindset, to partner with and support CS#1 Directors and Program Managers with evaluation of individual and team performance and to develop and deliver capability improvement strategies for their teams.

KPI's include:

  • Take ownership of the HRIS implementation, including the interface with Payroll systems
  • Develop and implement CS#1’s workforce strategy
  • Assist delivering CS#1’s REFLECT RAP
  • Chair WHS committee and act as Privacy Officer for CS#1

P&C Manager requirements:

  • Be an experienced manager who is comfortable performing the role of business partner to support diverse teams and leaders
  • Have experience partnering with leaders to evaluate staff performance and providing support to develop and deliver capability improvement solutions for their teams
  • Have experience with investigations/complaint handling
  • Have experience with developing and implementing HR Frameworks (e.g. Investigations/Complaints, WHS)
  • Provide support to the team with employee life-cycle programs and activities
  • Have ACT and New South Wales specific IR knowledge and experience, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge
  • Hold unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Hold an ACT Working with Vulnerable People card
  • Covid-19 vaccine evidence (mandatory)
  • Current Police check
  • Current Drivers Licence and car

Manager rewards:

  • Permanent full-time position available now – 76 hours/fortnight
  • Annual salary between $96,969 to $101,250 pa + super, commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus 10.5%superannuation and PBI tax benefits to maximise take home pay
  • Generous salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free income per financial year for rent/mortgage/general expenses
