We are a registered charity and certified organic farm for the advancement of education and the natural environment. Our vision is to Awaken our limitless potential through regenerative agriculture and holistic food. Working with small scale diversified regenerative agriculture and animal systems, working with nature and giving back to the land whilst producing nutrient dense food to feed and educate our crew of staff and volunteers from our internal Kitchen and Food Design team.

We focus on diversity in all aspects from our soil to plants to our food growing systems (and people!), we have our thriving orchards with hundreds of citrus trees and many varieties of tropical fruit, our syntropics system is full of bananas, cassava, papaya as well as our food forests with jaboticabas, custard apples, soursops, black sapote, jackfruit and so much more!

With our main food production system being our market garden, currently over 2 acres with 144 annual beds and 18 perennial tree rows as well as our Food Forest, Syntropics system and Orchards thriving on 230 acres.

Our Goals

• To provide hands on learning in regenerative agriculture, holistic animal husbandry, land management, holistic whole food preparation, products and consumption
• To demonstrate how to implement holistic and regenerative practices in all areas including business management
• To be the catalyst for positive change in the world, starting with ourselves!

What we are looking for

We are seeking a hard working, self driven, experienced Farm Hand to assist our Farm Operations Manager in the maintenance and care of our 230 acre organic farm land, food growing systems, orchards, buildings, irrigation and water management systems following regenerative farming and integrative animal husbandry practices.

You will have minimum 2 years experience in this field operating farm machinery and vehicles with strong communication skills, a desire to care for the environment including the animals and people. With a ‘can do’, helpful attitude, adaptability and ability to multitask and take on urgent items that arise on the farm with completion of tasks.

You will have

• Current Drivers licence valid in NSW
• Level 1 and 2 Chainsaw certification desired (not required)
• Minimum 2 years in land management / maintenance operating farm vehicles, equipment and tools
• Knowledge of organic farming systems desired including water and irrigation systems
• Familiarity of regenerative agriculture practices desired
• Conscious communication skills and self driven desire to create a positive impact in the world!

What we are offering

• Full Time 38 hours per week
• Catered meal by our kitchen team show casing a full farm to table experience with the food we grow and raise
• $25 per hour + super
