COTA Australia is the leading national policy development, advocacy and representation organisation for older Australians. We focus on national issues from the perspective of older people as citizens and consumers, seeking to promote, improve, and protect the circumstances and wellbeing of older people in Australia. As the leader in the sector, COTA Australia plays an influential role in policy and advocacy to Government, business, civil society and the media. This role develops and delivers high quality consultation and engagement activities with and for older Australians to support our advocacy.
As the successful applicant you will have experience in the design and delivery of effective engagements, collaborating with older people to support their participation. Your understanding of how to work with a diversity of older Australians and of the community sector will contribute to determining a more positive future for older Australians. COTA Australia is an equal opportunity employer and provides flexible working conditions. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) contract role, but we will consider a 0.8 FTE for the right candidate.
In this role you will develop and deliver high quality consultation and engagement activities with and for older Australians that support COTA Australia’s policy development and advocacy work across a range of areas. You will contribute to the delivery of our Strategic Plan and funded projects.
