About us

The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.

The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year.  The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About the role

The Operational Support Officer will be responsible for a range of projects and operational support functions for the ARC, CISP and CROP (Court Support Services) programs, including the administration of human resource and finance processes relating to these programs. 

About you

  • Experience coordinating recruitment 
  • Are able to provide advice and support in the application of organisation policies and procedures in consultation with relevant specialist teams within MCV.
  • Experience with coordinating administrative and financial processes that support the efficient operational functioning.
  • Experience preparing briefings and formal communications ensuring compliance with organisational and best practice requirements.
  • Experience preparing evidence-based reports, based on research and data analysis, to inform decision making
  • Identify, develop, and advise on new operational processes and procedures and continual improvement activities that enhance the operational functions of CSS programs. 

Can provide administrative and functional support to the CISP and ARC Practice Leaders in relation to professional development and practice improvement processes.
