Who are we?

We are one of Australia's leading non-profit disability support providers helping babies, children, teenagers and adults living with cerebral palsy and other neurological and physical disabilities. We have over 2,000 employees and we're growing… which is why we need you!

What's happening on the Central Coast?

We are recruiting for support workers in our Umina, Long Jetty and Wyong homes. The role includes providing in home support to our adult clients at meal times, with personal care and administering medication. This service operates 24/7.

  • Umina home: Permanent part-time and casual roles available
  • Wyong & Long Jetty: Casual roles available

Your availability

  • For permanent work: You will need to be available for 4 shifts a week (Mon-Fri) across a variety of shifts (morning, afternoon and overnight) and one shift on the weekend.
  • For casual work: You will need to be available for 3 shifts a week (21 hours per week). We are flexible if you are only available to work just morning shifts; or just afternoon shifts or just awake nights (as long as you can working some afternoons).
    • Morning shifts: starting either 6/7am - finishing either 2/3pm
    • Afternoon shifts: starting 1pm - finishing between 8pm-midnight
    • Awake nights: starting 10pm - finishing between 6am-9am

You:

  • Have been described as an outstanding communicator who is empathetic and compassionate
  • Have a professional approach, are accountable with a high level of motivation
  • Are upbeat, energetic and think 'outside the square'
  • Must have a current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
  • Must have, or willing to obtain prior to starting, a current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Working with Children Check*, National Police Check* and NDIS Worker's Check*
  • Must undertake a health assessment*
  • Must be double COVID vaccinated

*We cover these costs.
