Does this sound like the sort of opportunity you've been looking for? We are looking for a full-time developer to join our dedicated Salesforce team, managing the system that is used to support people living with a disability, their families and community.

You will work from our Allambie Heights campus on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches, supporting the ongoing development of the system as we continue to improve and refine functionality. Reporting directly to the Salesforce Manager, and as part of the IT team, you will often work independently but will also contribute knowledge and experience to Salesforce project work.

Must have:

To ensure exceptional service delivery, it is essential that you meet all of the following criteria:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working with:
    • Salesforce Lightning Configuration
    • Lightning Components & Lightning UI
    • Visualforce
    • Apex, SOQL
    • Triggers, Flows, Process Builder
    • Deployment Processes
  • A minimum level qualification of Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge and skills
  • A focus on user experience and system optimisation
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain prior to joining

You will be required to:

  • Support and maintain the Salesforce platform to ensure continued access
  • Work with the Salesforce team to coordinate the requirements, schedules and activities required for development
  • Suggest solutions to address business requirements, researching as needed to identify technical and design options
  • Implement, test, deploy and document system changes
  • Troubleshoot development and production problems in a timely manner to ensure fault finding, diagnosis and fixing of bugs
  • Develop and implement documentation, operating manuals and assistance tools to support a high-quality user experience
  • Lead ongoing reviews of system processes and develop optimisation strategies
  • Keep abreast of latest platform design trends and standards to ensure the current architecture and framework provides a great user experience and is aligned with current best practice
  • Review and streamline existing architecture to deliver optimal performance and user experience
  • Identify, flag and/or immediately escalate IT security breach issues across all end users to mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving user experience, compliance and system optimisation
  • Work with business representatives to understand their needs, design and develop system enhancements to meet these needs
  • Participate in projects, user acceptance testing and training development
  • Work closely with vendors and partners to ensure collaborative use of shared environments
