Cerebral Palsy Alliance is looking to appoint a dynamic, proactive, passionate individual to the role of Workforce Scheduler. The Workforce Scheduler is responsible for maximising the engagement, allocation and utilisation of CPA’s current and prospective direct care workforce across a diverse range of service areas.

The role is located in Allambie Heights and will initially be a 12 month contract, full-time position. The successful candidate will be outgoing and eager to join a fast-paced team and will be looking to take the next step in their career.

What are the duties of the role?

  • Identify and assess employee availability, capability and suitability to effectively match resources to business requirements and to maximise utilisation.
  • Maintain data integrity in the rostering system to ensure the rosters are accurate and relevant parties are kept updated and informed.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers in order to understand and respond to business resourcing requirements.
  • Build sustainable relationships with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure communication is succinct and accurate.
  • Analyse and assess operational processes and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Identify employees from the current resource pool to increase permanent hour contracts.
  • Collate relevant information (as required) to input into the manager’s monthly reports and to monitor team progress against performance targets.
  • Engage with the Pay and Benefits team to ensure awareness of roster trends and Award conditions to ensure accurate rostering practices and escalation of rostering concerns.

What will you bring to the role?

To ensure exceptional service delivery, it is essential that you meet all of the following criteria:

  • Rostering or scheduling experience
  • Excellent communication, the ability to work well in a team environment and independently and proactively
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • A positive “can do” attitude
  • Exceptional time management and ability to handle competing workloads
  • Be creative by nature, where problem solving and thinking outside the square comes easily to you;
  • Be able to pick up processes and procedures in an efficient manner
  • Current NSW Driver's License
  • Current WWCC and Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the role
