Salary: $80,000 (pro rata-ed for 0.8 FTE role) + superannuation 

Location: Flexible – remote across Australia.

Our team is located across Australia, with team members currently in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and regional Victoria. We support our team to work fully remotely or to share office space with other not-for-profits. CPRC brings our team together 3-4 times a year for planning and connection events to help us work effectively across the year.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role involves supporting the CPRC CEO and helping the organisation to work more effectively. 

The Executive Assistant role will: 

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the CEO, including assistance with arranging meetings, arranging travel, taking meeting notes and meeting preparation.
  • Ensure CPRC works effectively with our priority stakeholders by managing email communications and responding to general inquiries.
  • As a second priority, provide administrative assistance to the wider team by helping with project planning, communications tasks and research assistance tasks.
  • Generally, assist CPRC to work more effectively and to maintain our supportive culture.

ABOUT YOU 

You have worked with a CEO or a senior-level executive before. You can identify the best way to support someone in a busy role and can bring your experience to make CPRC run smoothly.

You have:

  • Experience with executive-level administration.
  • Clear writing skills and experience communicating with senior stakeholders, such as people in government and other CEOs.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive and self-directed style. You’ll be comfortable working in a small team and interested in continuing our supportive and collaborative culture.
  • Interest in CPRC’s mission. You want to work at a not-for-profit think tank that develops ideas to make markets fairer for consumers.

Not essential, but an advantage: 

  • Experience working with researchers.
  • Experience working within a not-for-profit or government organisation.
