Creating Links is a vibrant, boutique not-for-profit community organisation located in Bankstown that focuses on developing dynamic, resilient, confident and inclusive communities and families.
Our Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) delivers culturally appropriate high-quality care and support for children and young people.
Due to the high amount of growth within the department, we require a Carer Assessor, Recruitment and Training Coordinator to provide strong support to the increasing number of foster carers, kinship carers and other para-professional foster carers. As a Carer Assessor, you will conduct the recruitment and assessment of prospective carers and work closely with them. Furthermore, you will empower and assist carers to navigate the care system, develop and maintain their skills, liaison and negotiation with different stakeholders, and identify systemic advocacy issues.
This role is remunerated at Level 5 of the SCHADS award.
Please note this is a 3-year full-time contract, with a view for renewal subject to funding.
