About this role

The purpose of this role is to lead the implementation of the new extended kindergarten program at C&K Corbett Street Community Kindergarten - an Exceeding centre! 

This leadership role is permanent, part-time Monday to Friday from 1:15pm to 6pm during school terms (min 23hrs/week), with additional hours during school holidays.

We would like the successful candidate to commence as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Diploma of Children's Services
  • Hold or actively studying towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (desirable)
  • 3 years of early childhood education and care sector experience (desirable)
  • Current Paid Blue Card and First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
  • Strong communication skills and be a genuine team player
  • Ability to establish and maintain respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues and community Knowledge of and the ability to lead the implementation of a quality play-based kindergarten curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standard and willingness to learn and implement the C&K Curriculum Approach: Listening and Learning Together
  • Knowledge of and commitment to children's safety and wellbeing
