Project Ready, incorporating VET Certificate II in Active Volunteering, is an interactive work readiness and personal development program for year 10-12 students.

CRLLEN is seeking a qualified, motivated and experienced trainer/facilitator to deliver the following:

a) Project Ready (Cert. II in Active Volunteering) to year 10-12 students from Broadford SC. Location: training venue in Broadford TBC.

b) Project Ready (Cert. II in Active Volunteering) plus additional curricular activities such as sport, cooking, health education and art to year 10-12 students from Broadford Alternative School. Location: training venue Broadford TBC.

With TAE qualifications and vocational competency in Active Volunteering, you will have extensive experience and demonstrated success in delivering varied training in a youth or secondary school setting, with specific experience in working with disengaged and trauma-affected cohorts.

You will possess a content delivery style that is compassionate, and be able to use your knowledge of strength-based training, wellbeing strategies and pastoral care to create a learning environment that is student-centred, relational, safe and nurturing. You understand that building trusting relationships with young people and creating 'groupness' in a training environment are key to obtaining better learning outcomes.

Highly desirable but not essential are qualifications in group facilitation, education, wellbeing, careers or youth work.

You will be hired as a 0.4 FTE employee of CRLLEN from 4 January 2022 to 4 January 2023, and remunerated at $78,000pa pro-rata. Training delivery days will be as follows:

Tuesdays: 9:30am - 2:30pm Broadford Alternative School program, incorporating Project Ready

Wednesdays: 9:15am - 2:45pm Project Ready Broadford SC

Thursdays: 9:30am - 2:30pm Broadford Alternative School program, incorporating Project Ready

Fridays: 9:30am - 2:30pm Broadford Alternative School program, incorporating Project Ready

There is also the option to be hired as a contractor/ABN holder. Extensive professional development and other support will be provided to facilitators throughout the program.

A comprehensive facilitator's manual detailing session learning outcomes, activities and assessments will be provided.

You do not need to be a VIT registered teacher, however must hold current TAE qualifications. More information about Project Ready is available at www.projectready.vic.edu.au.
