About the role

Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Quality, Risk and Safety Manager to join the Capability and Impact Team, for this permanent ongoing position. The role may be filled on a full-time basis or 0.8 FTE by negotiation.

The Quality, Risk and Safety Manager reports to the Director, Capability and Impact and is responsible for providing leadership and management oversight in the areas of safety, quality and risk management at Your Community Health through the coordination of quality improvement, safety and risk management activities.

Your passion and commitment will see you

  • Partner with the Director Capability and Impact to lead and implement a systematic approach to corporate and clinical governance, risk management and policy.
  • Work collaboratively across YourCH to promote an evidenced-based, outcomes oriented, culture focused on continuous quality improvement.
  • Provide effective leadership to ensure YourCH meets its quality accreditation requirements.
  • Monitor and administer the risk management system, maintaining the organisational risk register.

To succeed in this role you will have

  • Tertiary qualification in health or administration (post-graduate qualifications are desirable)
  • Proven track record in leading, implementing and managing quality, safety and risk management programs at the senior management level.
  • Demonstrated understanding of performance measurement, benchmarking, and service standards in the health sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences
  • A warm, collaborative and consultative style
  • Strong communications skills across diverse group settings
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset
