About the Role

The Executive Assistant (Community) role is a rewarding opportunity for a creative and curious emerging professional with an ability to work independently, juggle priorities and connect and collaborate with others.

You will provide strategic executive and administrative support services to the General Manager, Community and across the division generally. The role coordinates workflow within the departmental administration area and supports the General Manager to meet Council objectives for the Darebin Community.

  • Support daily diary and correspondence of the General Manager Community
  • Coordinate meeting schedules, venues, agendas and attendance and equipment
  • Maintain files, finance records, minutes and clerical processes
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships to liaise with Coordinators, Team Leaders and other Council General Managers

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Business Administration
  • Experience in diary, document and email administration
  • Confident communicator with strong time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to conduct research and prepare formal correspondence
