About the Role

This a fantastic chance to join an award-winning program and providing support Council’s Climate Emergency Plan and Action Plan 2021-25. You will be accountable for providing high-level administration and system support to the Solar Saver program and will act as a first point of call to customers to address enquiries on Council's Solar Saver Program, and assist with program registration and participation.

  • Prepare information for customers in a concise manner using plain English
  • Review quotations and other documentation from solar providers for quality assurance purposes
  • Track and respond to enquiries using a CRM database and email inbox
  • Distribute promotional and other material, ensuring all information is accurate
  • Build relationships with Darebin residents and other stakeholders e.g. state government and solar installers

Skills & Experience

  • High level administrative skills with experience and proficiency in entering, managing and reporting on customer related data in a CRM database
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to be able to explain technical information in simple terms
  • Strong written skills including good grammar, punctuation, spelling and accuracy for proofreading materials and developing correspondence
  • Technical proficiency in producing quality reports, answering enquiries and managing information electronically
