Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services (Djerriwarrh) is a highly regarded not-for-profit charitable organisation which has been delivering high quality education, training, employment and youth programs in the western suburbs of Melbourne since 1989. Djerriwarrh, trading as Learning for Employment (LfE), delivers the federal Department of Home Affairs’ Adult Migrant Education Program (AMEP) in the Western Melbourne, Barwon and Ballarat Contract Regions.
Learning for Employment (LfE) comprises of seven adult community education Learn Local providers. LfE members include Djerriwarrh (contract holder), CommUnity Plus, Laverton Community Integrated Services, WCIG, Wyndham Community and Education Centre, Williamstown Community Education Centre and Yarraville Community Centre.
The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) is funded by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs and provides free English language tuition to eligible migrants and humanitarian entrants. Djerriwarrh is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Manager to support a team of staff and LfE members to implement and deliver a high quality AMEP across all three Contract Regions.
Djerriwarrh delivers the Department of Education, Skills and Employment’s Foundation Skills for your Future (FSFYF) in Western Melbourne and Ballarat.
