The Coronial Information and Support Program (CISP) is located at the NSW State Coroner’s Office and provides services for the whole of New South Wales.
CISP is designed to provide information and support to families where a death has been reported to the Coroner and to facilitate communication between the Coroner and persons who have contact with the coronial jurisdiction.
As Coronial Information and Support Program Officer you will work in partnership with; NSW Health, NSW Police, legal professionals, internal CISP employees and other non-government organisations.
You will provide information and support to persons affected by deaths that have been reported to the NSW Coroner.
Facilitate communication between the Coroner and persons who have contact with the coronial jurisdiction, providing short term support and debriefing to staff employed within the coronial jurisdiction.
You will also promote professional wellbeing via accurate and timely information, support and guidance for Coroners Court staff.
