Responsibilities:

• Day to Day management of financial operations and team
• Development and management of budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly& annual financial reporting
• Risk Management reporting and analysis
• Statutory & Tax Reporting including BAS & FBT
• Provide financial support & advice to the business on projects and financials
• Account reconciliations are performed on a monthly basis
• Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities – ACNC & ATO
• Project support & implementation of BI Tools
• Treasury Management
• Supervise the payroll process and staff including reporting
• Partner with leadership team on strategic projects
• Recommend system and process improvements
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditor
• Provide analysis, reporting and data
• Develop superior relationships with internal & external stakeholders

Key Criteria:

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and CPA
• Effective leadership and strong commercial management
• Sound financial management & attention to detail
• WISE Accounting software skills highly regarded
• NFP Sector experience preferable
• Raiser’s Edge & Salesforce CRM desirable
• Advanced excel skills
• Superior stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Effective problem solver, analytical and well-developed reporting capability
• Skilled in data analysis and interpretation
• Strong time management and able to prioritise
• Experience with Power BI Tools and Excel Analyse highly regarded
• Empathy and passion
